- Outline Markers
- Coloring Tools (I recommend Crayola’s 140 Piece Coloring Case)
🎨 Parents: The only tools you need to use these how-to-draw tutorials are: an eraser, a pencil, and a piece of paper. But – if you have them around – a sketching pencil makes for fainter and softer lines that help kids build fine motor accuracy. I also recommend going over the sketch pencil with a black outline marker when you’re done for a neater finish. Lastly, erase the pencil marks before adding color.

🖍️ Tools For Success
- Draw an inverted isosceles trapezoid with a horizontal line inside, closely parallel to the longer side. It will serve as the plant-pot for our succulent.
- Fill in the pot’s top with four long oval-like succulent leaves, making their top slightly but not so pointed. For more beautiful succulent leaves, draw them while facing opposite directions and different sizes – the other two points left and draw a bigger inner leaf.
- At the top of the four succulent leaves, draw another big and pointy leaf with four small sharp leaves behind it. Now our succulent looks so much healthy and hydrated with many leaves!
- Let’s have two shades of green for the leaves and two shades of brown for the plant pot. Color the lighter shades of green and brown to the leaves and plant pot’s inner parts, while the darker shades to the outer parts
